About this Essential Oil

This lot has an intense golden color due to the top-down hydrodiffusion method. This method also extracts more of the characteristic ginger notes, making it the best quality ginger in the world. Ounce for ounce, there is no better value for ginger. In most aroma therapy blends, this lot can cut ginger requirements by half.

For instance, in a blend that calls for one full ounce of a competitor's ginger, try substituting 15 grams of this Sri Lanka Ginger.

Ginger essential oil, or zingiber officinale, has a warm and earthy fragrance perfectly suited for fall and winter.

Ginger essential oil is often used to ease nausea. It is also an excellent addition to blends used for massage, as it can ease muscle aches and improve circulation. If you have a cold or the flu, ginger makes a great addition to an all-natural chest rub. Its warming properties can be very soothing.

However, BE SURE TO DILUTE IT. This ginger essential oil is particularly powerful and can be a skin irritant. Trust us. We learned this the hard way. Always dilute your essential oils before applying to the skin – especially known skin irritants.

Ginger Mythology

Ginger is an aphrodisiac, which makes it an extra special way to add spice to those cold winter nights….in more ways than one.

Pure Essential Oils

All our essential oils are premium grade, alcohol-free, phthalate-free, and undiluted. They are 100% pure, and sourced only from the most reputable distributors. We work hard to ensure that your perfume ingredients are top-quality, highly concentrated, and will mix neatly with both alcohol and oil bases. These are not ready to wear as fragrances – they MUST be diluted before applying directly to skin. It is always a good idea to do a patch test for allergies, even with natural materials. And of course – do not eat the oils. No matter how yummy they may smell.

Note: Although these are phthalate-free and 100% natural, they are NOT non-toxic. Don't eat them. Don't drink them. Patch test on skin. Dilute before wearing.
