Vanilla Mythology
First cultivated by the Totonac people in Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, this precious pod has an origin steeped in the timeless tale of forbidden love. The beautiful princess Morning Star had dedicated her life to the Goddess Tonacayohua, and was forbidden to marry. But while out gathering flowers one day, she met a boy and fell in love. They decided to run off together, but were soon found and beheaded. The first vanilla orchid sprouted from where their spilled blood had soaked into the ground, capturing their souls and allowing them to forever live on in unity, with their love transformed into the beguiling fragrance emitted by the plant.

All our synthetic fragrance notes are premium grade, alcohol-free, phthalate-free, and undiluted. We work hard to ensure that your perfume ingredients are top-quality, highly concentrated, and will mix neatly with both alcohol and oil bases. These are not ready to wear as fragrances – they MUST be diluted before applying directly to skin. It is always a good idea to do a patch test for allergies, with both natural and synthetic materials. And of course – do not eat the oils. No matter how yummy they may smell.
Note: Although these are phthalate-free, they are NOT non-toxic. Don't eat them. Don't drink them. Patch test on skin. Dilute before wearing.

I liked this vanilla scent, its definitely a foody vanilla scent. Sweet almost like it would go on vanilla dessert cake, but not too strong, just really nice to smell.
So so happy to have a local resource for getting creative with my own perfumes ❤️

Seriously, make sure to start with just one drop and keep testing as you add, because this vanilla is sooo strong that even at less than 1% of some blends I worked on, I could smell it loud and clear! I made the mistake of adding 3 drops to start in an ounce of a fragrance I was working on, and it was way too much! It lasts foreeeever too. The vanilla scent lingers on long after all other notes have disappeared. Definitely a pleasant scent to dry down to. Impressive quality for such amazing value!

I ordered the vanilla fragrance oil as part of a larger order. I\'ve been trying to replicate my favorite (discontinued) fragrance. The vanilla was a bit of a spontaneous add to the order, but I liked it a lot. The smallest vial size is perfect for experimenting. I didn\'t end up using it for the original intent, but I\'ve added it to other blends since then and it adds a nice sweet warmth.
This is a very warm, rich, lovely vanilla. It\'s not a replacement for the real deal, but this is very smooth and decadent gourmand vanilla. It\'s sort of a rich, buttery, bakery type vanilla scent. I have lots of vanilla fragrance oils from lots of suppliers and this is hands down the best I\'ve ever smelled as far as a synthetic goes. This will be an excellent blender, as well as making a lovely perfume all on its own, I\'m sure. I\'ll certainly be ordering a larger bottle of this to use in a couple of blends I make now that are very popular. I\'m sure this wonderful oil will only improve them further. Thanks, Vetiver!
