Oh yes- essential oils at Vetiver Aromatics! After much research and product-testing from various sources, we are ready to start launching our own essential oil offerings, right here on the website!
Since winter is fast approaching, we have decided to start with a set of essential oils that are particularly suited to the chilly weather. The first offering: Fresh Ginger Root Essential Oil. Ginger essential oil is often used to ease nausea. It is also an excellent addition to blends used for massage, as it can ease muscle aches, arthritis pain, and improve circulation. If you have a cold or the flu, ginger makes a great addition to an all-natural chest rub. Its warming properties can be very soothing.

Soon we will offer a complete winter health arsenal. And a Cold and Flu kit, as well! Just in time for the holidays.

Oh yes - we were mixing ourselves up some fragrances. Jillian likes to call it mixing potions.
We're both working on our debut artisan lines. Jillian's line is fairy-inspired: Fairy Berry, Fairy Bog, Watermelon Ice, and Chocolate Mimosa. They smell delicious, and very kid-friendly!
Mine is a Camelot line: each scent is inspired by some aspect of Arthurian legend. So far, I'm working on Lady of the Lake, Morgan le Fay, Excalibur, and Pendragon. Their scents are a little more grown up, slightly darker, with a bit of a vintage edge.
In this Age of Stuff, people are inundated with ceaseless displays of junk. Increasingly more items are mass-produced overseas, and then shipped to generic Big Box Stores where even cashiers are being replaced by machines. Is it any wonder many customers are beginning to feel undervalued? We need to put the heart and soul back into consumerism. We need to reconnect people with their products by engaging them with the production process. There was a time when artists, craftspeople, and independent business owners fulfilled our primary shopping needs. When we talked to the people who made our stuff. When we knew their names, and they knew ours. Let’s reignite that past.
