All our synthetic fragrance notes are premium grade, alcohol-free, phthalate-free, and undiluted. We work hard to ensure that your perfume ingredients are top-quality, highly concentrated, and will mix neatly with both alcohol and oil bases. These are not ready to wear as fragrances – they MUST be diluted before applying directly to skin. It is always a good idea to do a patch test for allergies, with both natural and synthetic materials. And of course – do not eat the oils. No matter how yummy they may smell.

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch/mixup or what, but this smell is *not* fresh dirt. This is a strong, cloying sweet, synthetic cinnamon, air freshener kind of scent. My wife agrees this smells like something a commercial restroom would be deodorized with. The closest I can compare it to is the old style of "new car" vehicle freshener that didn't smell like a new car. If this is the right product, I'm clearly in the minority here, but I can only go by what I'm smelling.
Fresh dirt smells exactly like potting soil out of the bottle and I love it! When wet it conjures up hiking in the woods and picnics in the park. The dry down is floral and a little like cologne in a god way. Have mot mixed with it yet or cabdle tested yet.
Honestly I haven\'t tried a lot of dirt FOs, but for the ones I have, they smelled more like purple deadnettle or other green weeds. I had been lookinghoping for more for the smell of the dirt as you work the earth, planting a garden. This one isn\'t exactly that either, but it smells amazing nonetheless! It still has some strong green undertones and it also smells like a good rich base for men\'s fragrances.
Yeah, this smells just like slightly damp potting soil. If you imagine standing in a musty garage during a rainstorm, that\'s this. But in all truth, it is a fantastic note to add to flower and wood fragrances, it gives them a needed layer of depth. I find it mixes well with musks and other woodearth fragrances.
This fragrance oil smells exactly like rich fresh earth, I would highly recommend this oil. I use it to give my beard oil a nice manly clean scent, and it fits the bill perfectly. Well done!
I have purchased Dirt fragrances from other sources but this is by far the best! It smells just like fresh dirt but with a lovely quality that makes it inviting to wear and layer with other fragrances. I really love it!
This oil did not smell of heavy earth and has a light, fresh note to it. It is more like the scent of earth after a spring rain, minus the earthworm smell. I was looking for something heavier, but this is a nice oil and will have its uses.
